About the Artist
Natalia Jaworska is a Polish artist based in Scotland, working across both traditional and digital media. Her practice includes observational drawing, painting, character design and mixed-media work, with a particular interest in creating expressive figures and original one-of-a-kind pieces.
Natalia has developed her practice through both formal study and independent work. Before college, she created original characters and small paintings, and also completed commissioned pieces for family and friends, giving her early experience creating artwork for other people.
She completed UAL Level 3 Art and Design studies and is currently studying Contemporary Art Practice at the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI). Her training has included observational drawing, painting, printmaking, 2D and 3D practice, digital art, photography, animation, exhibition practice and professional development.
Practice & Media
Natalia works with a range of materials and approaches, including gouache, acrylic paint, watercolour, oil pastel, pencil, digital art and mixed media. Her work moves between realism, impressionistic approaches, abstract work, collage and character-based illustration.
Alongside developing her own body of work, Natalia is interested in continuing to grow her professional practice, collaborate with other artists and build a dedicated studio-based art career in Scotland.
